X-Small Pinky

Are generally one day old and weigh 1.50-1.99 grams. Extra-Small Pinky Mice are a good choice for baby snakes and reptiles. Snakes in captivity can eat their first feeder mouse at 7-14 days of age.

Small Pinky

Are 1-2 days old and weigh 2.00-2.49 grams. They are suitable for very young, growing snakes and reptiles. To choose the right size feeder for your snake, start by selecting one with a circumference that matches the thickest part of the snake's body.

Large Pinky

Are 3-4 days old and weigh 2.50-2.99 grams. These mice are the last neonatal size before moving to the juvenile category.

Peach Fuzzy

Are 5-9 days old and weigh 3.00-4.49 grams. Some may be starting to develop a slight coat of fur. Peach Fuzzy Mice are the perfect size for those animals in which pinkies are too small and fuzzies are too large.

Fuzzy

Are 10-13 days old and weigh 4.50-6.99 grams. At this stage they have not opened their eyes yet and have developed a full coat of fur. Fuzzy Mice are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.

Small

Also known as hoppers, are 14-19 days old and weigh 7.00-12.99 grams. These are appropriate for many subadult snakes, birds of prey and other exotic pets.

Medium

Are 20-24 days old and weigh 13.00-17.99 grams. This age and weight range makes them suitable for snakes that require a moderate-sized prey item, offering an appropriate balance of nutrition and size to meet the needs of many reptiles.

Large

Are 25-30 days old. They weigh 18.00-29.99 grams. These feeders are appropriate for larger snakes, reptiles and birds of prey.

X-Large

Sometimes known as retired breeders or jumbos, are generally 5-6 months old and range in weight from 30.00-45.00+ grams. These are the largest mice offered by Emereald Exxxotics and are suitable for larger snakes, reptiles, and birds of prey.
